After a strange encounter at a local landmark, a young girl uncovers an unusual anomaly in her small town.
Artist Statement
Perihelion was made with the intention of bringing the strange and unusual experience of growing up in a rural prairie town to the screen. Small towns can be very ordinary and often overlooked, but sometimes bizarre occurrences arise in the most average places.

Artist Statement
Perihelion was made with the intention of bringing the strange and unusual experience of growing up in a rural prairie town to the screen. Small towns can be very ordinary and often overlooked, but sometimes bizarre occurrences arise in the most average places.
Randi Hamel is a Canadian artist and animator who grew up in rural Alberta. She works on comics and installation works outside of animation and hopes to one day drop everything and return to the woods, where she will become the modern big foot.
