Film Synopsis:
A young man is trying to let loose and enjoy a friend’s house party, but is having a difficult time when he notices something is off.

Artist's Statement: 
Party Monster is a film I made based on my own anxieties surrounding drinking. Addiction isn’t an easy topic of discussion for me, or for many people. I wanted to express those feelings of anxiety through animation as a way to discuss what it’s like to worry about addiction and putting yourself in spaces where it’s hard to cope with those worries.

Filmmaker’s Biography: 
Clio Borgford (they/she) is a 2D Animator based in Vancouver, BC. They love storyboarding and have interests in production design specific to Animation, as well as making their own comics. Clio hopes to move into the animation industry after school, as well as work on independent projects like webcomics and RPG-style games.
