A mushman goes on an adventure to pay off his debt, only to become a surprise mother to a bean baby.
Artist Statement
Mushman Tuk is a cheery and cute animation that was inspired by the cartoons that I enjoyed as a kid, but still enjoy as a grown-up. The art style is inspired by Pokemon and Nintendo games which are full of saturated colors which helps with the friendly feeling. The setting and music are inspired by RPG games that I like. The story's theme is about laziness and responsibility, which is something that I have always struggled with and wanted to express in a film.

Vincent Fung is a Chinese Canadian 2D animation graduate of Emily Carr University of Art and Design. He enjoys both Asian and American 2D animated films. He has a passion for the unconventional in Japanese animation, and finding inspiration in filmmakers like Hayao Miyazaki. Vincent is looking forward to working in the animation industry.
