Artist's Statement:
Music is a necessity while I’m creating, because it really helps me to expand my thoughts and get into the groove. My friend David and I have been looking for a chance to do a creative project together since we were in middle school, so I saw the 4th Year film as a great chance to combine this goal with my love of music. David created the song, and I used that to come up with the story and development material. David and I continued to work together to refine the music and the animation.

Filmmaker's Biography:
Jerry Lyu is a Chinese artist. He studied 2D-Experimental Animation at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. His professional experiences include freelance illustration and character design, and is focused on developing a career in the game industry.
